I am Alif, a Criminal Defense Lawyer exclusively handling cases in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and Negeri Sembilan.

I was called to the bar on July 28th 2017 and subsequently established my own practice under the name of Alif & Co.

Since the inception of Alif & Co, I have assisted numerous individuals facing criminal charges. My goal is to ensure justice—whether that means securing a full acquittal or advocating for a lighter sentence based on legal principles and mitigating factors.

I have extensive experience in a wide range of criminal matters, including:

• Drug Offenses: Section 39B Dangerous Drugs Act (Trafficking), Possession, and Usage.
• Security & Preventative Laws: SOSMA, POCA, and LLPK.

There is often a misconception about what we do. A criminal lawyer does not represent the victim to convict the accused. In the Malaysian justice system:

1. The Police investigate the case.
2. The Prosecution brings the charges on behalf of the government.
3. The Defense Lawyer (My Role) ensures the accused’s rights are protected.

SIDE NOTES

From 2025 onwards, to maintain the highest quality of service and cost-effectiveness, I only accept cases in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, and Negeri Sembilan.
